Who we are
Homemade-ish is a customizable baking mix brand from New York City, made with clean, simple ingredients and certified OU kosher. Founded by Dana Hasson, we make giftable baking mixes and the Homemade-ish Baking School, an online baking course for people who want to bake but never learned how.
Our founder
Meet Dana.
Homemade-ish was founded by Dana Hasson, whose love of baking has always been about connection. Dana moved to America at 13 without speaking English and taught herself to bake by watching, trying, and getting it wrong a few times first. Her first baking memory is sitting on the kitchen counter, baking a chocolate birthday cake with her mom. Today more than 3 million people bake along with her online.
As a Jewish founder who grew up around food made with real, simple ingredients, Dana realized that baking for others is her love language.
In October 2024 she created Homemade-ish, a customizable baking mix made with clean, simple ingredients and certified OU kosher, so making something homemade is easy, joyful, and entirely your own.

Our vision
At Homemade-ish, our vision is simple: make baking accessible, personal, and most importantly, fun.
You don't need to be an expert to enjoy creating something delicious. We're here to make the process easy, approachable, and worth getting excited about.
The baking aisle hasn't changed in decades. It's full of outdated mixes, artificial ingredients, and uninspired experiences. We're here to change that, with clean, simple, OU kosher ingredients and a fresh take on what baking can feel like.
We're not just a baking mix. We're the in between, where things feel homemade, without the pressure to do it all from scratch.
How it works
We give you the base. You make it yours.
Our mix is the part you can't mess up, already measured and balanced so every batch turns out right. Add one egg and melted butter, then fold in whatever you have at home: chocolate chunks, sprinkles, cinnamon sugar, the last handful of pretzels in the pantry. One mix, endless cookies, and every batch tastes like it was made from scratch.
